Farmount Falls in Louisville KY

This place was recently discovered by my cousin and I will give him credit. This place is very beautiful especially if you visit in the summer time when the 40ft waterfall is flowing. This is a simple small place but it is worth it. It is located just off bardstown road coming off the gene snyder. Its about a mile down the road past glen mary heading towards Mt. Washington. This place is spectacular for its loaction. The cool thing about this place is that it is government owned, therefore you can only visit with a permit only. You apply for the permit and within a few days metro parks will grant you access to the park and give you a key combination to open the gate for the small parking area. From there its a 2mile loop hike around the falls. Theres no set trail leading down to the bottom of the falls however, I may have hiked down there out of curiosity (they encourge you not to do that). If your interested in this place click this link or type "farmount falls louisville KY" in a google search engine.

HAVE FUN!
